For over 35 years, Big Brothers of Mount Juliet has been helping make Christmas a little brighter for children and families in our community. Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, Toys for Tots, and local businesses, we're excited to do it all again!

Donate Toys
Drop off new toys at local Toys for Tots collection boxes or the Mt. Juliet Community Center (1075 Charlie Daniels Parkway).
Give Financially

Our Mission
A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out
"NEVER let a person go without food or necessities in life and to help those who are simply unable to help themselves in difficult situations."
We are a 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in West Wilson County. All year long, we provide assistance to those experiencing "hard times," helping with electric bills, water bills, rent, food, medications, and more.

1948
A few caring people from the Mt. Juliet community get together to help needy families, sharing coal, food, and harvests with neighbors who hit "hard times."

Mid-1960s – 1976
The group becomes more established, and in 1976 is chartered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. As the population of West Wilson County grows, so does the need.

1990s – 2005
The Christmas toy program is named The Mothers Toy Store, and in 2005 it moves to the local high school to accommodate the growing need.

Today
We partner with the U.S. Marines' Toys For Tots program, and local students help distribute food boxes and sort toys. As our community grows, the need increases, but so does the spirit of helping our neighbors.
