BIG BROTHERS OF MT. JULIET CHRISTMAS 2025
Spreading Joy… One Toy at a Time!
For 36 years, we've teamed up with Toys for Tots, local businesses, and Wilson County Schools to light up Christmas for families in Mt. Juliet and Gladeville.
Our Mission: A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out
"NEVER let a person go without food or necessities in life and to help those who are simply unable to help themselves in difficult situations."
We are a 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in West Wilson County. All year long, we provide assistance to those experiencing "hard times," helping with electric bills, water bills, rent, food, medications, and more.

Our History
Helping our neighbors since 1948.
The first Big Brothers group can be traced back to 1948 when a few caring people from the Mt. Juliet Community would get together to help needy families, sharing coal, food, and harvests with neighbors who hit "hard times."
In the mid-1960s, the group became more established. In 1976, Big Brothers was chartered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. As the population of West Wilson County grew, so did the need for assistance.
In the 1990s, the Christmas toy program was named The Mothers Toy Store, and in 2005, we moved to the local high school to accommodate the growing need.
Today, that tradition continues. We partner with the U.S. Marines\' Toys For Tots program, and local students help distribute food boxes and sort toys. As our community grows, the need increases, but so does the spirit of helping our neighbors.
Please Note: We are a local charity covering West Wilson County, Tennessee, and are not affiliated with the organization known as Big Brothers Big Sisters.
